Carol Walker
Carol A. Walker, author, motivational speaker and Founder of the Financial Fitness Centers, the Financial Freedom Foundation, & cofounder of PayAccel, spent much of her career in the insurance and real estate industries where she built two multimillion-dollar companies and was honored with the industries' highest awards. Believing that financial fitness would be more important in the current economic climate of the 90's than physical fitness was in the 1980's, she established a company specializing in debt counseling and budget training and has overseen the evolution of her company into the Carol Walker Financial Fitness Program.
Carol shares her vast expertise through audio coaching sessions, speaking at conferences and at times offering individual coaching to our members. Her wealth of knowledge and experience is unsurpassed in our industry.
When Carol told her story in the 1977 book, How to Succeed in Business Without Being a Man, she gave hope to women around the country who felt trapped and discouraged by a perceived lack of opportunity. She was breaking new ground and insurance industry records in the 1960's, against all odds and before the women's movement had made significant inroads into the world of business. She carried her successful attitudes and techniques into the commercial real estate industry in the 70's and built a second flourishing company in Salt Lake City. In 1988, she began the business of helping others free themselves from debt.
WAKE UP AMERICA: Regain Your American Heritage - Become Financially Fit Through Debt Elimination, co-authored with John Rivera, Ph.D. published in 1997, contains not only the shocking facts about our credit and debt crisis, but easy to follow advice for becoming "Financially Fit".
Her Financial Fitness Centers offer a progressive curriculum of financial training and personal counseling aided by a unique personal computer program designed to inform, encourage, and motivate clients to unload excessive financial baggage. The majority of Fitness Center clients are on the fast track to paying off all consumer debt, automobile loans, and 30-year home mortgages in five to ten years, without increasing their income.
